The cabin has a covered front porch, equipped with old fashioned rocking chairs and a porch swing. The porch faces directly into the Hoosier Forest (a cozy place to hang out on a rainy day).
Inside the cabin you'll find a living room with satellite TV and a thoughtful selection of DVD/VCR movies (mostly classics and children shows). The living room has a vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams and a view of the loft.
The loft is a great place to hang out and have fun shooting pool on the 8 foot slate table. Also, there is an old wooden chest in the loft that contains a variety of board games, cards, puzzles and poker chips.
The kitchen is fully equipped with silverware, glasses, cookware, frig, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee pot, even an espresso machine so you can make that perfect warm drink to enjoy while setting on the front porch enjoying a peaceful Brown County morning.
The master bedroom is tastefully romantic with a king sized bed. Upstairs there is second bedroom with a full sized bed and third bedroom with two twin beds. And of course, all bedding blankets, pillows, and towels are provided.

Running Buffalo Log Cabin, a modern three bedroom vacation log cabin nestled between a beautiful wildflower meadow (where the buffalo used to roam) and the Indiana Hoosier national forest, complete with hiking trail, fishing pond, hot tub and all the best. Located in the heart of southern Brown County Indiana, this rustic yet luxurious Appalachian-style 2 story log cabin offering guests plenty of privacy and plenty to do... a wonderful place for a family vacation or romantic weekend getaway.
Cell phone reception at the cabin is hit-and-miss; Sprint and Verizon work, Cingular/AT&T/T-mobile do not.
The phone at the cabin will only allow local calls (no long distance). This is why we suggest you bring a calling card.
Cabin has DISH satellite TV, you may order pay-per-view... but PLEASE order by phone and pay with your credit card.
Cabin has has two restrooms. The second floor restroom is a half-bath (sink and toilet only). The first floor restroom offers a shower stall with a "rain" shower-head, sink vanity and a private commode. Note: the cabin does not have a bath tub.
Cabin is located within riding distance to the Nebo Ridge Trail. Mountain biking and horseback riding allowed.
